Ways to say Food

International Sign Language: Take your hand and stick it in your mouth. Further, further. Just a little bit more. There! That’s it! Now close your lips around your wrist, so people can see just how hungry you are.
French: Manger – pronounced (Mon-Jay). Manger means Eat, not Food. But it’s liable to get you a whole lot further than going around saying Norriture, norriture!, which is French for Food.
Spanish: Tengo hambre means I’m hungry. Enough said.
German: Say either Essen (Food) or it’s close companion Biet (Beer).
     Hebrew: Manna
     Southern U.S.: Food Y’all
     Cowboy: Chow
     Appalachian: Vittles
     Canadian: Food, eh?
     Military: Rations, Grub
     British: Biscuits
     Church-Goer: Potluck Dinner
     Spider: Fly
